Slightly off topic : Backup VM to Backblaze B2

I've finally got everything in place for a very boring (it just works!) 11.2 except...

I have 1 VM (irrelevant but it runs OpenProject only). I want to back it up to Backblaze B2 which is working for everything else on my server. Any tips/advice how best/most efficiently to achieve it (VM to Backblaze) short of just sending it to Backblaze once a week or so.
