Slack integration

i see in 11.0U2 slack integration is present under notification services but there is no test option to see if it’s actually working and what if I want all messages to go to slack rather than my email... maybe only email me if slack connection goes down?
Also there is an option for username and cluster name which I don’t think I need if I’m using a web hook?

I just set it up and came here with the same question (and others):

1. how to test it
2. what messages should I expect to see here (yes, I know WARN or CRITICAL, but what messages are those?)
3. What's a cluster name for? I left it blank, will it still work?
4. I put my own username, should I have created a dedicated user for this?

Those are the exact questions I have. So far my integration doesn’t seem to be working.

All you need to set up in the Slack Alert configuration window in FreeNAS is the Webhook URL.
The Webhook URL behaviour and configuration can be done ont he Slack website. You can configure there the username, channel, and icon.
