For my eBay query below, did I miss any models/chipsets of SAS HBAs known to readily crossflash into IT mode and work gloriously with FreeNAS? Needs to be 6Gbps SAS, connector type and count is less important.

("m1015", "m1115", "SAS2008", "9240", "9211", "9200", "h310", "h200")

Just make sure that you get the "I" (Internal) models when looking at LSIs; unless you are expecting to connect to an external JBOD.
Example: "LSi SAS9200-8i" vs "LSi SAS9200-8e".

Speaking of which, this listing and Image is totally confusing me (see the first picture..):

Also, double check the bracket that is included. Often times purchasers get the full height bracket when they need the half height bracket (or vice-versa). ;)

Lastly, make sure that the card can support >2TB Drives (some of the ones listed I am not personally familiar with)

I'll be mixing innies and outies, but that is definitely a confusing photo/listing; could easily get something "cheap" then end up spending another $40 on cables!

Anything that's 6Gbps should support >2TB right??
