Setup for FreeNAS in Vsphere

Hi Guys,

i would like to seek an advice to you regarding FreeNAS on vsphere .

My questions are:
1. If i will create a storage for my freeNAS for about 500 GB do i need to chunk it down like (5) 100 GB ?
2. Is there an impact if i pick bios(legacy) over UEFI installation ?
3. Can you please enlighten me about the use of thin , thick lazy zero and eager zero in my data storage ?
