Setting up freenas as a print server

Hi all,
I have tried following this guide inside a jail shell printing-cups-configuring-server steps 1 and 2 completed without issues.
In step 3 I was unable to complete this optional section as the paths did not exist

In order to enable CUPS printing under certain Microsoft® Windows® clients, the line below should be uncommented in /usr/local/etc/cups/mime.types and /usr/local/etc/cups/mime.convs:

application/octet-stream

At the end of step 3 I can perform # /etc/rc.d/devfs restart in shell and I can perform # /usr/local/etc/rc.d/cupsd restart in the jail but the documentation seems to suggest that both should work from the jail, nevertheless I moved onto step 4 and was unable to access the UI.
