Hey all,

I've put in 4 drives to my Cisco SAS HBA controller and they seem to be passing through okay.

From reading this: https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/confused-about-that-lsi-card-join-the-crowd.11901/

They should be in "JBOD" on the controller, which they are.

When I run "mfiutil show drives" I see each drive with it's serial and correct capacity.

In the Web Console I see all the drives, but no serial numbers.

Question:

Is this okay/working as intended?

I want to make sure this is setup correctly as I'm a freeNAS newbie.

Have you had success with this configuration?

You haven't given us much to work with; the forum rules ask that you give full details about your hardware.

What is your configuration? What model of Cisco HBA are you using? Does it work with FreeNAS? Or not? Either way, we'll be thankful to you for letting us know, as it increases our fund of knowledge w/ respect to RAID and HBA adapters. Thanks!
