I could wait 1 hours and I still won't be able to move it. I did a lot more investigation and I noticed that if I mount the
same share trough the IP instead of the hostname,
the problem almost disappears! (I do get some very infrequent
Folder in Use but it seems to be a different issue)
So,
U: is mounting
\\UTOPIA\Media\
and
V: is mounting
\\192.168.10.100\Media\ (same server/share)
Opening any video file and trying to move it's parent folder in
U: will always cause the
Folder in Use until I restart the SMB service.
Doing the same action in
V: doesn't cause any moving issues on any folder, no matter how many video files I play, I can always move it's parent folder(s).
Server is TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.2 as well.
for Client, I tried in latest Windows 10 22H2 (installed months ago), in a VM with a fresh install and also in another VM with LTSC 21H2. Same exact behavior in all of them.
It's a very weird issue

and I can't seem to anyone with the
exact same problem.
