SAB to Sickbeard post processing nightmare

Hi All,

I have a HP Microserver N36L, 8GB ECC RAM, 8GB OS FlashDrive and 8TB RaidZ1 array.

I have had a full week of nightmares trying to get this system working, i have followed https://www.jruehlig.com/wordpress/installation-configuration-of-freenas-plugins/
awesome guide but SickRage will not run after you add a show to it. So i started again (again and again and again)

I currently have FreeNAS-9.2.1.7-RELEASE-x64 (fdbe9a0) running fine, i have added the storage to the jail and i can see the folders and create contents, it is (i think) all running as the media account/group.

I have used Josh's method of putting all the packages in the same jail and they are all working. I can download shows through SickBeard and they appear in SAB and then the post process starts. I had problems with python being in python2.7 directory and cheetah missing but that appears to be sorted now.

I have Freenas running on 192.168.2.10
mainjail 192.168.2.50
inside the jail is sickbeard, sabnzbd, plex etc

in SAB once the python starts and the post processing kicks in i now get

i have done LOTS of reading and found a comment by you saying to run sockstat, this is the relevant lines in that.
192.168.2.13 is my iMac i am connected to the web page with at a guess, but there

OK, it looks like i might have been a folder short on the path for the scripts
It is now set to /usr/pbi/sickbeard-amd64/share/sickbeard/Sick-Beard/autoProcessTV
running sabtosickbeard.py

SAB come up with this error message though.
env: /usr/local/lib/python2.7: Permission denied

I have tried to do a
chmod -R 775 /usr/local/lib/python2.7
but that did not work.

Any thoughts please....

I have just downloaded the latest episode of Big Bang Theory for the 29th time trying to fix this...

edit: I have tried to stop and start the services as well but that made no difference.

please don't change permissions on system files.
What exactly is your problem? The file is downloading but the post processing script isn't moving it?

ok, can you try the below? looks like nzbtomedia changed what python path he's calling

ok that installed some updates, i restarted sab and sb but still get the same error.

it is running sabtosickbeard.py

Shall i just scrub it again and follow your guide and try to get sickrage working...?

ohh, your using SickBeard, not SickRage. You can do whatever you like, but I'm can only fully support the guide I have posted.

i gave up on sickrage because as i mention from your blog link, every time i added the first show it stipped responding. So i could not get into it or change settings or anything. I know i am being a pain in your a$$ with this so i am happy to reinstall to your guide so i am at least quizzing you on your design.

I will start again tonight.

lol, hope your wife doesn't hate me.

sickrage has been know to have bugs in the past but my production machine is working fine. the dev is pretty responsive on the SR forums

I can blat the RaidZ drive, is there a way to do a "factory reset" on the install..?

you can mark the disks for deletion when you detatch your zpool.

but you don't need to go that far. almost everything is contained in the jail. just delete the plugins, and jail. then start from there.
