Hi,
I cant see any temperature of my disks neither SATA drives (5x WD Red) nore NVMe drive (Samsung SSD 960 EVO). I had this problem already in 11.2 U7 (also earlier versions) and it is still present in 11.3 RC1.
Other S.M.A.R.T. datas are available but not the temperatures. Anybody an idear how to solve this problem?
Thanks.

I assume you mean you can't see them in the UI?

Try on the commandline:

smartctl -x /dev/da1

substitute the right disk of course.

you are right. with the proper command in the shell i am able to see the temperature of the drive.
But why is it not possible to see the temperatures in the UI?

It is a bug that has been fixed for the upcoming 11.3.

But that mean in 11.3 RC1 it is not fixed yet, because otherwise I would be able to see the temps.

Ah, missed the RC1 part. In that case, please create a report at bugs.ixsystems.com and post the issue number here.

You aren't seeing this data in the reporting section?
Reporting->Disk->Metrics (disk temp)->Devices (select all)

That's the only place drive temps show in the GUI on my system. Not on the dashboard or anywhere else I could find.
This is in my 11.2 or 11.3-RC1 test build.

I know since 11.3 RC1 the temperatures are nor shown in the GUI. But in my case I am also not able to see these in he trends. But now I know also why, it's because I spin down my drives. Temperatures are only reported when the disk is always on.
