Running applications from FN Server

Hi,

I'm considering to build a Llano based FreeNAS server with mirrored 2x 3TB Seagate ST3000DM001 hard drives using ZFS. Once setup, is it possible to install applications directly to the shared drive for running on client machines?

I'm only in the testing-phase of building my machine and a relative newbie, but FreeNAS shares work like any network - so yes, with the regular restrictions, you can install applications.
