Rsync - a runaway train

Hi

Been setting up all the rsync’s to my backup server I think I will need.

Tested most on VM.
But of course the one I went live with was a 1.2TB file.

Is there anyway I can stop a rsync?

Kill the process. What os is the other end?

Its the same deal : FreeNAS-9.2.1.5-RELEASE-x64 (80c1d35)

I just want it to stop.....

Open a command prompt, type "killall rsync". If it reports nothing owned by you, type "su", enter the root password at the prompt, and try again.

Cannot believe this, it finished just as I was about to type, kill.
6 Hours for 1.2 TB
