Sorry to say that TrueNAS/FreeNAS and Highpoint RocketRaid 2720 don't mix! Suggest that you dump it in favor of a true HBA - see https://www.ixsystems.com/community...s-and-why-cant-i-use-a-raid-controller.81931/ as a starter.
