Hi
I don't know if access to 'sysctl.conf' will be added to this or future releases, however, when it was available via the Advanced menu, it was definately a quick way to test different configurations out and I think it would be a benefit again in future releases.
I know it's extremely easy to ssh or hit F9 on the server box to manually edit the file via the CLI, however, for some of those other uses might benefit somehow.
After modifying the sysctl.conf file, I can substantially INCREASE my LAN throughput. In all, there are about 8 or so commands that do the trick for me.
Also....the SMB/CIFS service might benefit as well by including a user input area to include additional performance commands....like with previous releases.
Tnx
Tim
