Hi all,
I've just installed a freenas box, and it's kind been a painful experience .. In short I have several freebsd boxes, all with zpools/vols and data sets I want to back up centrally, daily.. With freebsd all you need to do is literally create a user, give it send permissions to the pool... ssh-copy-id to the target and set up a @daily cron tab and presto ... daily replication ..
yet none of this seems to work with freenas, there's not even a /home directory to ssh-copy-id's to ..
thanks!
