Recommendations regarding installing VM with ZFS filesystem within FreeNAS

I'm not sure if this is a stupid question or not but I thought I'd ask.

FreeNAS itself is using ZFS filesystem

I'm in process of installing an Arch VM with bhyve and was considering using ZFS on root filesystem with the VM.

Is it bad practice to install a VM with ZFS filesystem (Arch) on top of a basefile system (FreeNAS/freebsd) using ZFS?
