I know it should be 9.10, but I don't know how to change it.

I have spent 2 days backing up and restoring my data to a new install of FreeNAS 9.10, oh and no I didn't save it. I then rebooted expecting it to bring up the gui again, but no it didn't.

The picture shows the error code.
What can I do to get back to my FreeNAS gui again, and have I lost all my data now.

Looks like the boot device died. Reinstall to a different USB stick. Your data is fine as the storage disks are separate from the OS. However, unless you backed up your config, you will need to recreate it.

I loaded Freenas 9.10 onto a Transcend 16gb usb drive and FreeNAS loaded up ok but the services tab just shows a load of text now instead of what it should show. Is my setup corrupted or similar, and if it is what next.

Edit:
I installed Freenas 9.10 onto another USB drive and this time I had to add the volumes, but not before, and everthing looks ok. phew!
