RaidZ1 or Z2?

I have 8 x 4TB discs I'll be putting into my build. My question is, what's the most optimal setup for the discs?

2 x RaidZ1 with 4 discs each
or
1 x RaidZ2 with all 8 discs

I've heard it'll be faster if I do the double array, but the rebuild time is what would scare me with only one parity drive.

Any thoughts?

RAIDZ2. The speed doesn't matter as either one will most likely be bottlenecked by your network.

With RAIDZ1 if you get a single drive failure you'll likely lose your entire pool.
