Good day all..
I am from Trinidad and Tobago... At present i need to provide a backup and file sync solution for some of my customers where the servers are being stored at my office/facility.. I have already chosen the software product that i believe can do what i need... The only think left to do is to get 2 storage NAS that i can use as ISCSI targets and some level of HA.
I have search the web and read many documents and i have decided on getting 2 of these storage units and full them up with 6TB drives and run a few raid 5 array in each box..
But there are a few things i am not sure off:
1)Does freenas have some level of HA option ? or is it an option i can only get with Truenas ?
2)What would be the best raid configuration to use in freenas ?
3)Is hot spare an available option in freenas ?
any advice or pointers will be greatly appreciated
