I've had issues with a few different fresh installs of 9.3 with the dreaded "Unable to find domain controller" error. I see that there are a number of bug reports about this, but I'm unsure of the software development terminology meanings. If a bug report says "I've committed a fix...", what exactly does that mean? Does it mean it's been added to the latest stable release? Or does it mean it's slated to be included in a future release? Or does it mean it's included in the nightlies that I could upgrade to?

I guess I'm just curious if I need to apply an update, or wait for the next release to try and get this working. I've had no luck getting this working 100% with AD on a few different versions, but I'm eager to keep trying.

Nightlies will always have the latest (built) fixes and are built once a day. Following the nightly train allows one to get these as needed.

In addition, there is a query for "fixed in 9.3 software update" and a query for those fixes which are "staged for next software update". Released software updates appear in the 9.3 stable train while those which are staged have not been released yet to stable.
