question about rsync

In legacy FreeNAS, the built-in rsync functionality included a "local" option that would let you back up to a physically connected internal or external drive. I found this very useful so I could automatically backup all new files to my external hard drive. Does FreeNAS 8 also have this local option? The documentation mentioned client and server functionality, but nothing about local and I couldn't find any screenshots of these options. I'm hoping this option is still available in the latest release of FreeNAS 8.

It's not available in version 8, but you can open a ticket at support.freenas.org and request it as an enhancement.
