Public SMB Share?

How do I create a public SMB Share that does not require any username/password at all?
I am new to FreeNAS and kind of liking it! But I want to has out these details!

Even while doing that and setting up the Enable Insecure Guest Logins in Windows, it still asks for a username/password prompt.

No clue what that insecure group policy is that you are screwing with but I don't think you should be.

Also your dateset needs to have the correct ownership for the guest user account

The group policy was showing that I am enabling guest policy. Regarding ownership what do I need to do? Please be easy with me as I am new to FreeNAS.

Only Allow Guest Access

Set this value under advanced settings. This will make it so it's guest access only. The way you have it setup is like a fall back. Try to log in then if that falls use the guest access

Output of 'testparm -e' from the freenas sever? If you have that option selected and it still asks for a password there is a bug

OK, I finally got it!

Followed this and the advice given by some very helpful members on here and got my Windows 10 connected to a non AD integrated Freenas VM without any issues.
