I have a HP DL320e where I've put in a WD Black PCIe nvme card.
Apparently the Hp will not boot from this card, despite that it sees it as a mass storage card, and it has been set as first boot controller.
So I was thinking about using a USB for doing the initial boot, and then remap everything to the NVME PCI card, but is there a guide somewhere on how to do that?
I do have four hot-swap ports in the front, and I currently have 2 12 TB WD Black drives, and I have two more, so I could of course mount the two 500 GB drives previously placed there as boot drive, but then I don't have any way of expanding the storage :-(
I beleive the best solution for us would be to have it 'bounce' of the USB drive, and then boot on the NVMe card.
