Hi all,
2 years ago, I started out an experiment in open source software. I switched my desktop and lap top to linux, put DDWRT on my router, bought a NAS box that was hackable with FFP. It has good for the most part, a bit of a challenge because I have no computer background. Getting under the hood of an OS has been interesting and fraught with some misadventure.
FN8 has been another great adventure. So a big pat on the backs of all the people who put it together, maintain it, and keep pushing it forward. Also, a big thanks to all the posts on this forum that have help me get my system up and running.
Some problems I have yet to work out will be posted in other threads.
Keep up the good work!
