Plex Media

Hi

Does anyone know the correct way to link media in Plex using FreeNAS 11beta2? Iv'e managed to use Mount Points to link my media to plex however have had no luck separating my movies and music.

Hope someone has the answer! :)

Just place them in separate folders and add libraries for each.

You can but it's not necessary and just adds more configuration.

When creating your Plex library entries - specify separate libraries for /media/Movie and /media/Music

It's necessary if /media/movies and /media/music are separate datasets.

Good catch. Ill admit I didn't look that closely as I have never had a good reason to sort my media on separate datasets.

Which would you guys recommend? Easier if I just get rid of Music and Movies datasets and have them as folders inside PLEX-Media-Tmp? I have no real need to have them in separate data sets if they don't need to be.
