Plex Jail / local media server not showing up

Hi,

I have a problem with my Plex jail. I moved the FreeNAS (and the jails) from an inside network (192.168.32.0) to my DMZ (176.16.2.0), since then the Plex jail is not showing up my local media server. I can connect to the UI and I see the Plex servers from my friends but not my own. Also the little zig zagy thing in the top right corner is disappeared.

Any one an idea how to bring back the Plex server?

Are they in the same subnet as your local network? if not then that makes perfect sense.

Also on an unrelated note, in your signature you list a L2ARC on your server with 16GB of system memory. You're likely ruining your performance and you should remove that.

Hi,

the FreeNAS IP is now 176.16.2.12 and the Plex jail has the IP 176.16.2.13. Before I moved the FreeNAS the IP was 192.168.32.24 and the Plex jail had 192.168.32.25

Is your local media server on the same subnet as your DMZ?

Yes, the FreeNAS Plex plugin is my media server.

When you first set up your Plex plugin, it asks you to set up the server functionality. Where you can add all your media folders. This part is missing in my jail. When I log in to the Plex plugin in my FreeNAS I do see all the Plex servers from my friends but not my own.
