Plex database location?

For multiple reasons, I am wondering if anyone has info on where/how plex keeps a record of what users have watched what content, and what content is actually available to plex with all of its associated metadata? I assume there has to be a database file somewhere within the jail, but I am unsure where that is.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I plan to set up a new iocage jail soon and don’t want to lose my plex history.
