PKG repository missing the latest version of Plex

I am running FreeNAS 11.1-u2 and decided to create an iocage jail to install Plexpass. Working from the command line, I had no problem creating the jail. For the record, I did not try creating a jail from the beta UI, so no comment on that.

The version of Plexpass in the pkg repository is 1.11.0.4666, which dates from December. According to FreshPorts, the latest version of Plexpass should be 1.12.1.4885. Am I missing something?

The repository for new jails is based on the quarterly stable release. Do a search on the forum for how to change this if you choose to have the latest.

You are right. I had to create a FreeBSD.conf file within the jail itself and set it for the latest releases. The default was set to quarterly releases.

I don't remember seeing this documented anywhere. It might be nice to have the option to choose between quarterly and latest releases when initially setting up the jail. At least, put a notice in the documentation for those folks who want the latest releases.
