You should do some reading on FreeBSD a little in regards to installing software.

Only thing you need to do differently is when you get to the step where you install the plex aplication run the command below.

pkg install plexmediaserver-plexpass

A Plexpass subscription works with the standard, and generally more stable, version of Plex too, so unless you want to very latest release to effectively test, I'd recommend the non-Plexpass version exactly as per the 'how to..' guide. When you sign in the Plexpass features are enabled.

This installed but was not letting me add a premium music library, and was having a hard time sorting and matching my media. once I installed Plex via plugins everything was back to normal, meaning no premium music library i don't love paying for things that are not supported, and trying to ax my spotify account... any other suggestions out there would be most welcome and thanks for everyone's help / suggestions thus far.
