phpvirtualbox Failed to open/create the internal network

Hi,
my PHPVirtualBox and Windows VM have worked fine until I performed the latest FreeNAS updates last night. Now my VM won't start with ethernet in bridged mode I get the error

Failed to open/create the internal network 'HostInterfaceNetworking-epair0b' (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_NOT_FOUND). Failed to attach the network LUN (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_NOT_FOUND)

I want my VM to be bridged so it has a LAN IP address I can external route traffic to.

What might have caused this after the FreeNAS update? Any idea how I can get this working again?

I changed to 'epair1b' and it worked this time. I'll try changing back later to 'epair0b' and see if the error comes back.

Working for now, phew!

I had a similar experience a couple of times when I first started using the VirtualBox jail, to the point where I got into the habit of checking the network name on each VM after each update. In each case I found there was only one valid selection available.

It's been a while since this happened to me and I no longer bother checking ... but I haven't installed the latest update yet.

Hi Robert,
at least it isnt just me ;-) I've done a dozen updates that require a reboot and it never happenned before so was a complete surprise. I'll bear it in mind in the future.
