Hi folks

I tried Owncloud on 9.2, occuping abt 1 Tb Disk space.

After I uninstalled Owncloud, this abt 1 Tb diskspace is missing, Disk downsized downto 2.8 Tb form 4 Tb

How do I gain this space back ??

I can think of two possibilities:

1) All the files are still in the owncloud directory where it resided. Since you probably used the plugin, I don't know what directory that is in the plugin (since I use a direct install), but the default directory for independently installed FreeBSD Owncloud installs is:

/usr/local/www/owncloud/data/{whatever_the_username_is_in_owncloud}/files

2) You had snapshots of the jail; even though the files are gone, the snapshots are not, and thus, take up space. Go to the storage->snapshots screen to see if this is the case.

Hope that helps.

Hi DrKK
Thanks for swift reply.
There are no files left in the Dir mentioned above, and neither can I find any snaphot. Search for Owncloud showed 0 results

It seems that Volume partition changed size. But in Reporting it showes 2.8 Tb, and no references to any other partitions.
Is there a way via Freenas web or ssh Interface, or any tool to check and change it back into 4 Tb?

Edit
Ah, wait: reinstalled the plugin, now the webinterface shows 1.1 Tb in use for Owncloud.
Since Owncloud contains no files at the moment, can I de-install it and re-gain the space ?

Hi thanks for reply
Plugin was installed and un-installed via the NAS interface. This left the space occupied. Couldnt repair with any Disk repair tools.

In the end did full reinstall with 9.3
This regained the 1 Tb space.
Present state: Happy user, with some Owncloud scars.
