I am wondering if there is an ETA on when the Owncloud plugin will be updated to 6.0.

It was released last week, I don't expect it happen soon but I was just trying to get an idea because OC6 brings many great features. I know there has not been any updates to the Owncloud plugin in months so I am wondering if its going to be months or weeks before a possible update.

That's kind of an unfair assessment. They are a small group trying to get noticed in the world.

Well, when owncloud.com and owncloud.org offer 2 different versions as the latest that's more than a little confusing. Imagine if FreeNAS had a 9.3 and a 9.2 out at the same time...

We are talking about 2 different products here. One is enterprise and one is community. Lots of projects do this. https://owncloud.com/products/enterprise

There are literally tons of open source products out there using the same model. The community is the beta testers for the end product. We essentially do that here. We have beta and rc to test before official release. This is something new to the owncloud team as they are trying to break into enterprise business.

Ok, well, if that's how they do it I understand. I'm an owncloud user and that was not obvious to me.

I guess someone should put a ticket in at bugs.freenas.org as a feature request to be updated to 6.0.

Or heaven forbid a paid product like ... oh let's call it TrueNAS and a community product like FreeNAS? heh

Do you want me to smile and show you my bad teeth? LOL.

Honestly, I've been very lucky. I'm almost 34 and never had a cavity or anything. :)
