Other Options to Pass-through Drives

Hi there. My motherboard Asrock C2750D4I doesn't support PCI pass through and was wondering if there is another way I could pass the disks through to a freenas VM. I am looking at using Proxmox and was hoping the following would be ok https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Physical_disk_to_kvm Thanks

Unless you can properly passthrough (VT-d) then you should not consider using vmWare. It is a CPU requirement. Typically, xeon processors support this. Some i3 CPUs do as well.

Be very careful trying to kludge an ESXI solution.
