Im running FreeNAS 11.3-U5

i recently upgrade my OpenVPN client to 2.5.0 im not sure which version i had before. All of a sudden my tunnel interface will no longer connect to PIA

i did some research and it turns out i needed to change my data ciphers in my config file to gcm instead of cbc

This seemed to work for a day but now the OpenVPN client will no longer connect to PIA. Ive adjusted my config file to connect point to several different hosts but no joy.

These are the errors i keep receiving
SIGUSR1[soft,tls-error] received, process restarting
2020-11-20 21:30:34 TCP/UDP: Preserving recently used remote address: [AF_INET]184.170.241.194:1198
2020-11-20 21:30:34 UDP link local: (not bound)
2020-11-20 21:30:34 UDP link remote: [AF_INET]*.*.*.*:1198
2020-11-20 21:31:34 TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity)
2020-11-20 21:31:34 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed

Im pretty new to this so i apologize for not being super clear here i just need some pointers on what is exactly happening and how to resolve.

This was working without issue about a month ago. Im not sure if perhaps something changed with PIA.

If PIA is to blame are there other VPN providers i can investigate.
