No file transfer from Mountain Lion

Hello,

I have set up FreeNas on an old machine and all seemed to go well. I have read the Quick Start section of the documentation and have configured things very basically. I have created a user, and an AFP share and I am able to connect to the GUI and in Path Finder I am able to mount the share I have created. But when I try to drag a file over to that share I am asked for my OS X User Name and Password and after giving it it looks like it's uploading the file but then just quits without moving the file into the share and I get no error messages.

Can you point me in the right direction.

If it helps this is the error message I'm getting: Jul 29 04:06:54 freenas avahi-daemon[2215]: Invalid response packet from host 192.168.1.8.

Problem solved

It was a path problem with the shares. I declared a home directory for my user self and that directory needed to be in the share path.
