I have created a NFS share but when I try and connect to it using the Files GUI, it displays "THis file server tupe is not recognise".

I have tried installing nfs-common on the client but it does not seem to help.

But I am still at a loss.

Please follow the forum rules in order for us to help you out and provide a good answer.

We need to know what FreeNAS version you are running and please clarify, maybe witha screen shot or two, exactly what you are experiencing. It appears you have two problems, maybe the client cannot read NFS too?

I would suggest you perform an internet search for your problem. Looks like you have an issue with Debian.
