Hi, I am really new to Nextcloud and would really appreciate some help. I am wanting to be able to use it in place of google drive, calendar and photos. I have got it to the point where I can access it via https://internal.ip . I have setup a dyndns pro account. I would like to have my dyndns account redirect to an internal ip on my edgerouter. So I can access it anywhere via the domain name, while still being quite secure. I realize I am asking for a lot here but I would really appreciate the help.

Your actually very close it sounds like to me. Your domain name has an @ record pointing to your WAN IP? Log into your router and forward port 443(https) to your nextcloud jail IP. If its all working as you want internally this is all thats really required to make it "live".

Once you have this, test it from your phone over cell data. https://your.domain. (If you dint have the domain name pointing to your WAN ip already, it can take quite a few minutes to propagate).

Hey John, thank you for the help. I am able to access it outside of my network. I was overthinking the situation. Now the next thing I need to figure out is the Google Migration. Thanks again.
