FreeNAS 11.1U6
I've read the installation documentation and searched these forums for about an hour on this and I'm humbly waiving the white flag.
I'm simply attempting to "start over" with a FreeNAS build on existing hardware and storage. Although the installer explains we're performing a new installation and the two boot/installation drives will be erased, the new installation finishes somehow restoring the previous build's config (ie. Network interface configuration, TCP/IP configuration, time zone, vdev information, etc.) I assumed it was finding some backed up config file left behind on one of the vdevs. I completely destroyed them and tried again but it's still finding a configuration somewhere. I'm installing on non-RAID 2 SSDs. Perhaps it's finding the config on one of these drives.
I'd really like to start from a fresh clean slate.
Thank you,
Jas
