New files saved to share showing in Windows but not in Plex

Rebuilt plex after installing 11.2. Plex was able to see all of my old movies and TV shows within the media folders. When i download a new movie or TV show into their folders Plex doesn't see it. I have to go to file explorer and right click on the media (movie or tv show) file and select Properties, security, "Everyone" and add in "Full Control" after saving this Plex will then add in the movie/tv show when I scan.

Ive tried changing user setting in freenas but nothing I do changes this.

Any thoughts?

Same thoughts as for all the previous people who asked the same question several times: It's not a bug, it's a feature ;)

See the release notes section known impacts. The reason each new file is not seen by plex are the inheritance flags of
the ACLs of the directory containing the files you copied. Check them with the getfacl command. Change them with the
setfacl command. You can remove them completly by using the -b switch, so only the normal file mode permission are in place.
