Network Trash Folder

G'day folks,

Just trying to see if there is any chance of recovering some files I accidently dragged into the "Network Trash Folder" on my cifs/ftp shared zfs.

The files are not in there, and there is no hidden files with them. I assume this folder destroys whatever ends up in it?

No zfs snapshots, and export recycle bin was not on (just learnt about that now googling for help)

You might be able to do some ZFS transaction rollback as long as the blocks haven't been overwritten yet.

Thanks cyberjock - is it a complex process? I have halted writing any further data to the zfs since the incident.

I have been looking for a trash bin but cant seem to find it.
can I make it bigger? does it cache to the HD ?
