Yesterday I upgraded to FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201509282017 from FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201509022158,

and I have a small issue with network speed after the upgrade the network speed is maxed at 34Mbit/s but if I reboot in to the old release there is no issue getting 900+Mbit/s

the network card is: em0: <Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection 7.4.2>

there was no errors in the log.

has anybody seen any issues like this, with the current release?

Have you checked the Bug Reports here and if you do find it, add the fact you have it too, if you don't find it, submit a new bug report. It definitely sounds like software.

Definitely sounds like a software issue, then. But I find it weird that someone messed with the em driver...

Just to confirm the upgrade path, did you do an upgrade to the current boot device or did you use a new boot device (USB Flash drive assumed here)?

If you haven't already done so, you might try to build the boot device fresh from the current iso and then restore the configuration file, see if that works better. Either way I think it's a bug report item.

I did an upgrade to the current boot device, I will try the iso approach, but I will not be able to take it out of production befor the weekend, and there is no issues after rebooted into the version before
