Hi all,
I installed Freenas 8.0.1 RC1 on a DELL PE860 (usb drive), and IP (192.168.100.48) was assigned by DHCP. Then I took the usb from the Dell server and put into a HP Microserver, booting up fine with a new IP (192.168.100.50) DHCPed.
Afterwards, I can not get it from webgui, So I manually changed the IP to 192.168.100.50 from the console, still no luck. However, I could SSH to it.
Then I tried to locate the lighttpd.conf (usder /usr/local/etc/lighttpd/)
There is line * server.bind = "192.168.100.48" *
I changed it to 192.168.100.50, restart the lighttpd service, now I can get into web
Problem is when I rebooted the server, it came back to 192.168.100.48
Any ideas?
Thanks RW
