Until now, I just had one volume and one dataset that I was sharing (SMB). I just mapped the share using root. I currently have a volume called /myvolume, and a dataset /myvolume/familyshare.

I want to set up a couple more shares with specific users and I am having problems. I can map shares using root permissions, but I cannot map them using the "owner's" permissions. I am assuming I have done this wrong.

I want the following structure

Users: Me <--- member of snuffy-group, member of fluffy-group
Snuffy <----- member of snuffy-group
Fluffy <----- member of fluffy-group

/myvolume/familyshare <----- I can access everything, recursively to the rest of the datasets
/myvolume/familyshare/Snuffyshare <----- I can access everything, Snuffy can access /snuffyshare <----owner:group set to snuffy
/myvolume/familyshare/Fluffyshare <----- I can access everything, Fluffy can access /fluffyshare <----owner:group set to fluffy

That's the video I used as a guide the first time, and it didn't work. I can only map the share with the root username/password.

/myvolume/familyshare/Snuffyshare <---- the volume, and both datasets are set as owner (group): snuffy.

Snuffy is a user that belongs to a group, also known as snuffy.
