Hi Guys

I have had FreeNAS for a while but I have real problem getting to run
Fully loaded FreeNAS Mini with version 11.1 installed


SMB isn't always loading
Getting timeout error when trying to stop
May have broken/messed permissions

Web UI does load sometimes

The Update is not working

UPS has connection problems

Can't reboot - something doesn't stop

Can anyone jump on a Skype call with to help?

Can you please provide more information?

What do you do when SMB isn’t loading? From what device? OS?

What are current permissions?


When web UI doesn’t load, what error do you get? It doesn’t load when you visit home page? Or after you log in? Or when you do certain operation in the UI?


What does the Update do if it is not working?

That is nice to hear that you have your problem solved.

It would be nice if you could tell us what went wrong and what is the solution.

When someone will have the same problem than you and will google “SMB isn't always loading” or “Getting timeout error when trying to stop” or any other phrases you used, he’ll land here on this post. Now that it is still fresh in your mind you can enlighten us on yet another solution.
