Need a SATA controller for Dell PE T110

I'm trying to build a box on a budget A pic of the motherboard is located here. I'm trying to put NICs in the bottom two slots but I think the top slots are X8 and X4. So far the plan is to put 4 3.5" drives into the bays of the T110 and use a 2.5 SATA cage that holds 4 2.5 SATA drives this will give me 8 drives. Can I use the on board SATA and the card at the same time?

To answer your question, typically you can add additional SATA connections via an add-on board. Just ensure you get the correct bus interface, they look like PCI-E slots but just make sure you get what properly fits. Search the forums here for recommendations on these cards.
