I'm using FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201605170422 with the following services running: CIFS, SMART and SSH.
Every few weeks the system becomes non-responsive and the only thing that seems to help is a restart. I think CIFS might be the cause of it so I've turned on the CIFS logging level to "Debug" so I can try and analyze the logs and figure out what's happening but the logs reset after every boot because /var is tmpfs the logs. Is there any (safe) way to move the logs to a dataset so I can analyze them after a reboot?
Thanks
