Moving disks from 1 controller to another

I can't find this on the forums....
I have a dell t340 with a h330 controller. I have 8 drives, in 2 pools, attached to the h330. 1 pool had 5, 1 pool has 3. I want to move the pool with 3 drives to the internal S140 SATA controller on the motherboard, and leave the other pool, 5 drives on the h330.

As the 3 drives will be moving controller, will trunas lose the pool, or just see the drives at the new "location"?

Aside, do you think the S140 be fast enought for 4 SATA drives, striped? I will be putting a 4th drive into the pool at a later date.

should be the case if you had both controllers flashed into IT mode... you haven't shared hardware details, so I'll just assume you did that.

Thanks for that Sretalla, The h330 has been flashed, but the S140 is in ACHI mode.
