Moving a Pool of 4 disks from a native TrueNas install to a ProxMox virtual TrueNas environment with asm1166 6-port Sata Controller

The native setup with the ASM1166 6-port Sata controller works on an dedicated i5-4 HP computer.
Now I would like to move the Sata controller with the 4 disks (all in 1 Pool) to an i7-6 running ProxMox that has TrueNas running in an VM.

I can see the ZFS drives in the Node under Disks, but there is where it stops.

The only other thing I could find is that I can add de PCIeSata Controller to the TrueNas VM as a PCI Device. But even then I cannot see the drives in the VM.

I hope someone can help me with this problem.

A poor choice of hardware, but that's up to you. https://www.truenas.com/community/r...t-multipliers-and-cheap-sata-controllers.177/

This would be the right approach to take with whatever controller you have for a TrueNAS VM: https://www.truenas.com/community/t...ide-to-not-completely-losing-your-data.12714/

Do you see anything in dmesg about the disks in the VM with the controller passed in?
