Wow! In part 4 of those videos you call out freenas for having a bug because it can't see the pool you made via cli. How do you think freenas makes a pool, let me tell you it uses the cli. So if you do it correctly on the cli, freenas gui will use it just fine. Also you keep making multiple pool because you think it means you can upgrade cheaper. This isn't the way to do it. You make 1 pool and upgrade the vdevs to increase your space. So you only need 2 drives to upgrade your space with mirrored vdevs. Not 8 like you say you do. Also stop using manual setup, you could have done everything in one step using the normal wizard.
