Move Windows dataset directories to Unix dataset

I have a Windows dataset with directories. I have a new Unix dataset. I'd like to move all directories from the Windows dataset to the the new Unix dataset. If I use SSH to move all the directories & sub-directories to the Unix dataset, will all the windows permissions stay with the directories/sub-directories?

If I want the windows permissions to be cleared when moved, how can I accomplish this?

Permissions may end up being mangled during or after the move, depending on what exactly you do.

You can reset permissions to sane defaults using the webGUI.
