Mounting a FreeNAS

I'm thinking of mounting a FreeNAS, but am in doubt in hardware so far chosen, DDR3 Crucial CL9 1600Mhz Ballistix Sport, Asus SktFM2 - A55BM-A/USB3, AMD SktFM2 A6-6400K 3.9Ghz Black Edition, Western Digital NAS SATAIII 3TB 64Mb Red 6Gb/s.

My question is this configuration compatible with FreeNAS?

I what to store date so that if one disk fails, my data is save in the other ones, which RAID to use?
